Job Skills Coaching for Adults with Autism
Job skills are essential as they give Adult’s with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) the opportunity to contribute to society in a meaningful manner. Our job coaches identify vocational opportunities that are commensurate with education, experience, and interest. Job skills services begin with an assessment to determine strengths, preferences, and needs. The assessment results form the basis of a treatment plan that includes measurable data-driven goals in specific skill areas.
The SEED Center uses the most widely recognized and proven tool to teach Adult’s the job skills they need to become working members of society. Job skills participants complete assessments in employment skills to determine baseline and select units of study. Job skills participants gain valuable employment skills that are utilized in career exploration, volunteering, and competitive employment opportunities. The SEED Center partners with local businesses to open up volunteer career exploration, as well as competitive employment, opportunities.
